Arts Of Fashion Competition 2011

The International Arts of Fashion Competition selects a number of fashion students with outstanding creations relating to a theme given each year from many countries around the world.

Theme for the 2011 edition is "Tension". Students will have the opportunity to submit an application showing their creative and innovative design potentials in the following two categories:

• Accessories: a mini collection of three accessories, including luggage, bags, belts, hats, shoes, etc… Sorry no jewelry will be accepted. Applicants can submit a collection in any combination, such as three different belts or one belt, one bag, and one pair of shoes.

• Fashion: a mini collection of three outfits in menswear, women wear, or a mixed collection of both men’s and women’s wear.

The chosen finalists will present their designs during the Finale Fashion Show at the AoF Annual Symposium, from Friday October, 28 to November 1, 2011. Candidates maintain artistic ownership of their designs and final projects.

Eligibility
The competition is open to students studying Fashion and Design anywhere in the world during the academic year 2010-2011. The participants will not only represent themselves, but also their Schools, Colleges or Universities, as well as their Countries.

Internship opportunity with Nice Collective in San Francisco.

Scholarship for 4 weeks with the Arts of Fashion Summer MasterClass program in Paris hosted by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris in the famous Le Louvre
