An incredible event celebrating the 3rd in a series of Nokia documentary films highlighting the UAE’s music scene. Featuring not one but two international bands, plus two world renowned DJs including a living legend, all in the mighty Chi, voted 'Best in Dubai' by Time Out magazine.

NOKIA INSIDE MUSIC
Nokia Inside Music is a series of music documentary films that aim to capture the country's evolving music scene.
Following the debut of the first two volumes 'Dubai Club Sounds' and 'Hip Hop Heat', the third volume, 'Sound of Live' features live band performances covering several musical styles including alternative, indie, and rock.
The artists showcased in this episode offer an insight into the UAE music scene from a fresh new perspective. Each performer and band in their own unique way, contributes to the ever-growing local live music scene, developing what can only be described as the SOUND OF LIVE.

ATHLETE
Since bouncing to prominence seven years with the Mercury-nominated debut, ‘Vehicles And Animals’, Athlete have established themselves among the UK's finest songsmiths. They've sold more than a million albums and won an Ivor Novelli Award for the song 'Wires'.
THE FUTUREHEADS
The Futureheads describe themselves as a post-punk revival band. They hit the big time in 2005, when their cover of Kate Bush's 'Hounds Of Love' reached number 8 in the UK singles chart and was named best single of 2005 by music mag NME. Don't miss their exhilarating live show.
DJ ZANE LOWE
BBC Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe is dedicated to new music. His evening show has aired many bands that have gone on to greatness, including Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Editors, Kasabian, The Wombats and Kaiser Chiefs. He was also the first DJ to play Gnarls Barclay 'Crazy' on air.
LOCAL LEGENDS
Guest support includes live music from local heroes of the live and DJ scene. On stage will be Juliana Down, Tim Hassall, Gayathri, and behiond the decks Mark Evans and Matt Ross from Dubai's popular weekly indie night Step On.

GRANDMASTER FLASH
The legendary Grandmaster Flash is one of the pioneers of hip hop music. Flash invented cutting and scratching and was the first to rap over his beats. Most famous for the timeless tracks ‘White Lines’ and 'The Message', Flash will be performing live. Warm up by DJ Dany Neville.
