Where Spirits Land

The exhibition ‘Where Spirits Land’ explores the connection between spirituality and reality. Using visual art and music the artists search for the meeting point between their spiritual journeys and the physical existence of their lives and surroundings. Three artists are featured in this exhibition:

Sumaira Isaacs - uses her Islamic faith to create immediate visual impact. Her voyage of chance has now culminated into this thematical exhibition.
Shakira Masood - an expressionist of the purest kind: her work is an expression of her innermost thoughts and often a social commentary.
Ziyyad Gulzar - brings sound to the exhibition, by usingmusic to create a narrative and composing interpretive music around the visual exhibition.

The works are the result of a joint, interactive exploration of the topic by all three artists and reflect the confluence of their individual journeys, making this a unique exhibition not to be missed.
