Made In Tashkeel 2012

In the past four years, Tashkeel has worked to uncover emerging artists from the United Arab Emirates, and to provide them with the opportunity to interact with and learn from artists from varied cultural backgrounds. In recognition of creative cultural exchange, Made in Tashkeel is an annual exhibition that showcases and celebrates the success of artwork produced by members and workshop leaders throughout the year, exposing it to the general public.

This year’s edition of Made in Tashkeel, Made in Tashkeel 2012, includes a range of works selected to characterize the year’s developments in cross-cultural interaction and the visual arts. Each exhibit stimulates a dialogue between the artists of MIT2012 as well as with the audience.
