Infusion

So this is our final issue before we break up for Ramadan (yes, sorry folks, but you are not going to be Infused again until after the Eid break. Booo!) and, like the various promoters, venues and DJs around town, we’ve crammed as much into Magazine #90 as is humanely possible.

To begin, cover story is obviously Ben Westbeech, a personal favourite new artist of mine (yes, being discovered by Gilles Peterson has its benefits) and he spoke to us ahead of his upcoming gig at Alpha. Cannot wait!

But that’s not all, dear Infusionistas, as everyone and their Granny is throwing a party before the Holy Month starts; with The Freestylers (at Alpha …awesome), DJ Fresh (Submarine), Graeme Park (Plan B), Joey Negro and Andy Warburton (Hed Kandi) all coming to entertain. 

How amazing is that? And, as usual, Infusion is giving you a front row seat to all the choice goings-on about town.

And so it only remains for us to say Ramadan Kareem to you all, hope that you get out of the Holy Month exactly what you intend to (for us, some well earned R&R). Be sure to check out the Ramadan Guide at the back of this issue to see where all the Suhoor action is going to be. 

So I guess we’ll see you when we get back (prepare yourself for some slight modifications to infusion upon your return, by the way). And we’ll leave you with this one thought to ponder while we’re away: where did the rest of the year go, exactly?
