brownbook's March April issue is themed Royalties in the Middle East and will focus on monarchies past and present. As well as profiles of princesses from the region we will also look at the last Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and how the architecture of Istanbul is still rich with Ottoman buildings. We will hear the views of art collector Sultan Al Qassemi of the Sharjah ruling family and feature the under construction Sheikh Zayed bridge in Abu Dhabi designed by Iraqi-born architect Zaha Hadid.
