Desktop Wallpaper: Join in!

Desktop wallpapers always come in useful. The more inspiring, stunning and elegant they are, the better they can challenge our imagination and provide some fresh perspective in a rather tedious and monotonous workflow. However, desktop wallpapers occasionally can go far beyond offering colorful eye-candy; sometimes desktop wallpapers include calendars, funny cartoons and logos of favorite tools, services and companies.

How do I participate?
You have some excellent ideas for a desktop wallpaper? We are genuinely curious what you’ll come up with. Please consider the following guidelines:
1. Choose any theme you like, typography, art, abstract, illustration, photography; it’s up to you.

2. Design a wallpaper in the following resolutions (as many as possible, minimum 4): most popular resolutions are 800×600, 1152×864, 1280×1024, 1920×1200 and 1024×768 px, 1280×960, 1600x1200.

3. Make sure the wallpapers contain a Spiky Penguin logo (.zip, http://www.spikypenguin.com/sp-logo.zip) which is clearly visible on all wallpapers; you may also place your logo on the wallpaper if you want to.

4. Upload your wallpaper by going to "Extra" and pressing the "Submit your own" button.

What do we expect?
Please consider that not every wallpaper will be published as we’ll carefully evaluate each work and will select only those wallpapers, which have some creative and artistic potential. In order to be featured, the wallpapers need to have some idea, not the pure advertising of a designer who created it.

Feel free to design bold, exciting, crazy, personal, but creative, unusual and absolutely stunning wallpapers.
