Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed orders Dhs 4 million ...

His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Su preme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, ordered today a cash grant of Dhs 4 million for children, youth and school and university students attending Abu Dhabi International Book Fair to kick off tomorrow .

The grant will be distributed on beneficially during the fair in coordination between Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and Abu Dhabi Education Council.

HE Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Director General of (ADACH) said “His Highness’s generous offer comes inline with the strategically plane to develop the Book Fair. The grant stimulates students to own the newest titles in literature, since and culture, which will encourage them to read more”

Al Mazrouei thanked Shaikh Mohammed for his support to develop education in UAE and encourage children and youth to read and be more aware. This step will enable them to contribute effectively in the cultural development process of the society. The step also shall give them a soled experience to start their carrier life and encourage them to open up to deferent cultures.

HE Juma’a Al Qubasi, Director of the Book Fair, commented that Shaikh Mohammed’s order comes from his general keenness to encourage students to read and be aware of what is happening in the all knowledge fields, which will be available in the fair where more than 823 publishers from 63 countries are displaying the news book titles in the world.

Al Qubasi said that ADACH started coordinating with Abu Dhabi Education Council to put the procedures to distribute vouchers for children and students visiting the fair.
